LUMA was started by drivers who were tired of choosing between two ends of the accessory market — the throwaway plastic sold in gas-station aisles and the ultra-expensive OEM-only parts that lock you back into a dealer service schedule. We wanted a third option: refined upgrades chosen for fit, finish, and long-term ownership, sold direct so the cost stays reasonable.
Today, every LUMA SKU is hand-checked against four criteria before we put our name on it. It has to install without special tools or permanent modifications. It has to look like it belongs in a premium cabin — not a parts catalog. It has to survive a year of daily use, including temperature swings, spills, and the kind of friction that comes with real driving. And it has to be backed by a real person on the support side of the order.
LUMA is built for the driver who keeps their car for seven years, waxes it before a road trip, and notices the small panel gaps and stitched seams aftermarket parts usually ignore. LUMA was founded by a small team of automotive enthusiasts and aftermarket parts buyers who had spent years personalizing their own cars and watching friends settle for less. The mission is narrow on purpose: curate the upgrades you would otherwise buy yourself, and remove the trial-and-error from the process. Every product page on this site spells out fitment, install time, and the limitations we know about — not just the marketing pitch.
Pricing stays direct because LUMA ships from a U.S. fulfillment center and runs on Shopify's commerce platform — no distributor markup, no dealer floor, no laminate-display warehouse. The savings show up in the cart rather than on the marketing copy, and the support runs on real email rather than a chatbot.

Beyond our 30-day return window, every LUMA product is covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects and shipping damage.
